Every year our kids get to go to the bookstore for their birthday and pick out their birthday book. This year Starboy picked the Pirates of the Carribbean book that came with a real compass and picture slides. 
Then for his birthday evening celebration. His cousin P. whose birthday is just 8 days after his came with his family and we all went to celebrate at PIRATE ISLAND PIZZA. This place is wonderful. The ambiance is as good as Disneyland. The food is amazing and the kids love the chucky cheese like arcade with tickets and prizes. They even had a guy making balloon swords, parrots and butterflys.
It was a fun evening the children's menu's are also pirate hats. They even fit me!
The pizza was so good. They had over 13 different combinations. Some were very creative. Starboy got the Hawaiian and P. got a BBQ chicken one called "The Pearl" it was yummy but Spicy. We all enjoyed the food.
The boys really got into the pirate theme. We were there for about 3hours. I would definitely go back again. They even had a little kiddie play area for kids 6 and under that The littlest cousins enjoyed. The pirate waiters and waitresses came over and sang and the boys even got a free ice cream scoop.It was very very fun and unforgettable 8th Birthday experience for these two boys.
