Christmas Day

Merry Christmas. I will walk you through a few of our Christmas Traditions and how we spent this wonderful holiday. Every year we open new pajamas on Christmas Eve. We all got toasty warm ones this year. (Aren't we cute) We also spend Christmas Eve at Aunt T house. We had dinner and did the Nativity Play. I forgot my camera so hopefully the aunts will send me pictures. Starboy was Joseph and Princess was Baby Jesus. I was the Narrator and Coach was a Wiseman. We got home pretty late, but Starboy was excited to get into his new pajamas and climb in bed so that Christmas day would come faster.

Christmas morning we come out (about 8 a.m.) Coach would prefer 10am since he loves to sleep in, Starboy wants to come out by 6 am, so we compromise. All the presents are snuggly under the tree.

But we can't open them yet...first we have to find our stockings and Santa Gifts

Here is our stocking set up this year.

Starboy got an MP3 player from Santa and a lot of other fun High School Musical stuff in his stocking. He received a camo-build a bear from his cousins which we will got to the store and stuff today.

Princess's Stocking had a baby doll, some finger foods, and fruit that she can have

My stocking was full of "house keys" They were all kinds Santa was very creative (of course if you read Christmas Eve's post you can know what my real present was)

Coach received a new ornament that says "Home is the resting place of the heart" a Sting Christmas CD and some goodies.

After opening stockings we take a break and make a special breakfast. This year it was waffles with yogurt, ice cream, and blackberries YUMMY!!

After breakfast, Princess fell asleep, so starboy and I went and got dressed and we waited till about 10:15 to open the rest of the presents.

This is another picture of Starboy and his stocking stash. He received a lot of great presents this year. Including Ice Skating Lessons (from Mom) , a remote control police car and High School Musical DVD Game (Aunt Cindy) , an insect spider spy learning kit (Grandma H.), a math game (Aunt Michelle), A Hong Kong Hat and shirt (Grandma & Grandpa S.), a Build a Bear (Aunt T.)
and many more odds and ends that he was excited about.

Princess also got a lot of fun things. These puppets were from Grandma and Grandpa S. (they were actually sent a long time ago, but I saved them for Christmas) They are all different animals and will be great for Starboy and Princess to put on little plays with.

Princess's big present this year was a shopping cart which she LOVES to push around and climb on. She also received a build a bear bunny from her cousins (Aunt T) , a baby stroller (Aunt M) A beautiful cross stitch from Grandma H. (It says Princess Sleeps Here) and a lot of board books.

I received this beautiful nutcracker Christmas plate from Coach. For years he has wanted to start a unique plate collection. Where instead of having a set of matching china, we have really cool individual plates that we can use. This is the first of the series we will begin collecting each year.

From my parents in Hong Kong I received this beautiful scarf and pearl necklace. They are both so elegant. The colors of the pearls are breathtaking. THANK YOU MOM AND DAD!!

Coach got two silk ties and a hat from my parents in Hong Kong, and a cute book from Princess called Daddy's Girl. Coach has told Starboy and me that he prefers to have gifts given to him, that are not bought, but instead require work to make or perform, so Starboy and I recited a poem to him for Christmas called "I Wasn't There". Starboy also made him 3 books. "The Ginger Bread Baby" , "Merry Christmas", And "Santa Claus Comes to Town" He drew the pictures and wrote them all by himself. Coach was very impressed and appreciative of all the hard work.

We all had a great morning. The family received all 3 High School Musical DVD's (Starboy and I are fans if you haven't noticed) and each a Christmas Music CD which we listened to all morning. We left at 2 pm. for Uncle Erics house for Dinnir with all of Coach's family. The evening was fun eating, playing games, and visiting. What a great way to spend Christmas.
